Lisa Autry, the original Frock Girl, is known and loved for her direct and honest approach while styling her clients and their closets. She’s a firm believer that everyone needs that someone to be completely objective, take charge, and simply tell them what to do with their wardrobe. So many can’t seem to let go of items of clothing due to emotional attachments, hope for future weight loss, or because of high prices they paid for the garments. Through a bit of “closet therapy”, Lisa is very successful in getting her clients to let go of the old, and make room for a new, more modernized & functional wardrobe. Although based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Lisa travels nationally wherever her services are needed!
For the past decade, Lisa has been a devout fan of TLC’s “What Not to Wear” starring famed stylist Stacy London. In 2011, she was beyond thrilled to not only meet her TV fashion mentor Stacy London, but also had the great fortune to be personally trained and certified as an independent stylist by Stacy herself! During that intensive training session, Lisa was honored to be selected along with other stylists from around the country, to represent Stacy London for her new fashion venture, Style for Hire. She and her team provide Frock Girl with ongoing style training, new seasonal trends, and a network of industry resources. Lisa feels very fortunate to be closely associated with such a style icon as Stacy London herself.
